About KORCLC

The Knoxville-Oak Ridge Central Labor Council (KORCLC) is one of nearly 500 state and local labor councils of the AFL-CIO that are at the heart of the labor movement. KORCLC is a democratically governed body composed of affiliated unions and other labor organizations in East Tennessee, dedicated to representing the interests of working people. KORCLC mobilizes its affiliates and community partners to advocate for social and economic justice, and we strive daily to make our communities better for all people.

The Council is headquartered at the Knoxville Labor Temple. The Council's regular monthly Delegate Meeting is held here, and the Labor Temple's meeting spaces are available for use by affiliated organizations and friends of labor, including community organizations.

The Central Labor Council is led by 15 officers elected to its Executive Board. In addition to the President, Vice President, Financial Secretary, Recording Secretary, and Guard, there are five Trustees and five At-Large Members of the Board.
